There are 3 Panthers on PFF’s top-101 list, but 2 stars.
Three Carolina Panthers Named to Pro Football Focus’
Pro Football Focus has named three Carolina Panthers among its Top 101 players for the 2025 season. But they might not be the three panthers you think.
Damien Lewis, a left guard, is ranked at number 80, Tetairoa McMillan, a wide receiver, at number 60, and Mike Jackson, a cornerback, at number 61. 80), wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (No. 60) and cornerback Mike Jackson (No. 48) made this year’s cut—and rightfully so. Lewis had the third-highest pass-blocking grade among all guards (79.3), McMillan ranked 20th overall in receiving yards (79.2) and Jackson—as noted by the PFF staff—had a career year of his own:
In a breakout campaign in his sixth NFL season, Jackson ranked third among cornerbacks in PFF’s overall grade (83.5). The 2019 fifth-round draft pick finished the year with a combined 16 interceptions and pass breakups in the regular season and playoffs, tied for the second-most at the position.
However, the list did not include two of the team’s best players – defensive lineman Derrick Brown and cornerback Jesse Horn.
Brown finished with an overall defensive mark of 74.5, the 13th-highest at his position. He also recorded—among all defensive linemen—the most batted passes (seven), the second-most stops (41) and the fourth-most solo tackles (46).
Horn, meanwhile, was tabbed as Carolina’s only Pro Bowler through the 2025 campaign. He also had career highs in tackles (16), interceptions (five) and—per Pro Football Reference—punts (nine).
