A man arrested on suspicion of weapons possession after reports that former Prince Andrew received threats

London — A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon following earlier reports of Prince Andrew. He was threatened by a masked man while walking his dogs near his house.

Norfolk Constabulary said the arrest took place on Wednesday evening after a report of a man “behaving in a menacing manner” near a home. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in eastern England.

“Officers attended and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon,” the force said on Thursday.

The suspect is being kept for questioning at the nearest police station.
