NATO warplanes have been deployed after a brutal new wave of attacks by Russia killed children and pensioners in Ukraine.

A drone attack on Cherkasy killed an eight-year-old boy and injured 14 others. A horrific attack at a bus stop in Zaporizhia has claimed the life of a 74-year-old kiosk saleswoman.

Ukraine attacked military targets, including FPV drones, killing a Russian soldier as he walked along a pond in the battle zone on the Pokrovsky front line in the disputed Donetsk region.

The woman says: “It’s been torn apart… I can’t feel my legs.” Three more were injured in subsequent attacks on Dnipro. Putin’s forces brutally attacked Volodymyr Zelensky’s home city of Kryvyi Rih, engulfing it in a giant mushroom flame.

Six aerial bombs attacked Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, in the Pechenehy Dam area. Putin’s forces repeatedly attacked the border town of Sumy, targeting emergency personnel at the site of the initial shelling.

In a blow to Putin, a military-related gunpowder plant in Kazan exploded in an unknown incident. At least one person died. Ukrainian armed forces attacked the town of Enrhodar Nuclear Power Plant in Russian-occupied Zaporizhia, causing a power cut.
