The Celebrity Traitors 2026 latest updates have revealed another dramatic twist as Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall became the latest celebrities to leave the BBC reality competition.
Episode seven, broadcast on Thursday, 22 October, brought an end to the suspense surrounding the Traitors’ unusual murder mission.
Maya Jama, James Acaster and King Kenny had been instructed to eliminate a Faithful by making someone yawn during a conversation.
Their plan succeeded when Ross Kemp fell into the trap.
Later, Jerry Hall was banished following a tense Round Table discussion, despite being a faithful.
With only three episodes remaining, the competition is moving towards its conclusion.
Ross Kemp Murdered in Celebrity Traitors Episode 7
Ross Kemp became the latest victim of the Traitors after the group successfully carried out its secret mission.
The challenge required the traitors to make a faithful yawn without revealing their intentions.
During the previous episode, Maya Jama and James Acaster repeatedly yawned while speaking with Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall.
Viewers were left waiting to discover whether their plan had worked.
Episode seven finally confirmed that Ross had been eliminated.
His departure shocked the remaining contestants and created further confusion about who might be responsible.
The murder was particularly memorable because Ross had already expressed concerns about being targeted.
Jerry Hall Banished Despite Being Faithful
The drama continued when Jerry Hall became the focus of suspicion.
During the Round Table, contestants questioned her behaviour following Ross Kemp’s disappearance.
Although several players appeared uncertain about the evidence, the group ultimately voted to banish her.
Jerry then revealed that she was a faithful.
Her elimination was another setback for the contestants trying to identify the hidden traitors.
Every incorrect banishment reduces the number of faithful players and makes the game more difficult.
The result also demonstrated how quickly suspicion can spread when players interpret nervousness or unusual behaviour as evidence of deception.
Who Are the Traitors in 2026?
Three Traitors remain in the competition:
- Maya Jama
- James Acaster
- King Kenny
Maya has managed to avoid attracting the level of suspicion directed towards several Faithful contestants.
James has appeared increasingly uncomfortable with some aspects of his secret role, although he continues to participate in the Traitors’ plans.
King Kenny joined the Traitors after being recruited during episode five.
The three players must continue working together while avoiding detection.
Their challenge is becoming more difficult as the number of contestants decreases.
Michael Sheen and Sharon Rooney Investigate
Michael Sheen has become increasingly involved in discussions about possible traitors.
His observations have influenced conversations among the remaining players.
However, not every theory has pointed towards the correct suspects.
Sharon Rooney has also examined clues connected to the unusual murder mission.
Her attention to the mysterious perfume-bottle theory could become important as the competition progresses.
The Faithful contestants need to distinguish genuine evidence from misleading behaviour if they hope to identify the remaining Traitors.
Joe Lycett’s Previous Elimination Still Matters
Before Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall left the competition, comedian Joe Lycett was banished during episode six.
Joe was a faithful, meaning the group had once again eliminated an innocent contestant.
His departure affected several players emotionally, including Miranda Hart.
The incorrect decision also allowed the traitors to continue operating without losing another member.
Earlier in the series, contestants successfully identified Richard E. Grant and Hannah Fry as traitors.
However, subsequent recruitment allowed the secret team to rebuild.
This has made the game particularly unpredictable.

Who Will Win The Celebrity Traitors 2026?
The winner has not yet been revealed.
Maya Jama, James Acaster and King Kenny remain in the game, but their positions could change quickly if the Faithful begin identifying the correct suspects.
Michael Sheen and Sharon Rooney are among the players examining the evidence.
However, suspicion continues to fall on several innocent contestants.
The outcome will depend on future murders, Round Table votes and the decisions made during the final stage of the competition.
